Landscaping Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaping Assistant to become part of our team at Wild By Design. This is a hands-on, site-based role supporting the delivery of high-quality hard landscaping across Surrey, South West London and West London.

• Job title: Landscaping Assistant

• Employment type: Full-time, permanent

• Work location: On-site across Surrey, South West London and West London (travel directly to project sites)

• Base location: Wild By Design, Unit 3, Havenbury Estate, Station Rd, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1ES

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm

• Salary: £26,000 per year + DOA

• Driving licence: Full UK driving licence preferred

Key responsibilities

• Assist with hard and soft landscaping works, including planting, paving, brickwork, turfing and general site tasks

• Use hand tools and machinery safely and correctly

• Follow plans and instructions from the Team Leader and site management

• Maintain a tidy, safe work site

• Support the team to deliver work to a high standard and on schedule

What we’re looking for

• Reliable, physically capable, and happy working outdoors in all weather

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Good communication and teamwork

• Landscaping or construction experience preferred, but not essential for the right person

• Competent using tools and equipment safely (or willing to be trained)
