Creating shade in the summer to shield the south f

Creating shade in the summer to shield the south facing windows but allow light in the winter. Don’t interrupt the view of the hills behind, make it beautiful in its own right and try and span 5 meters… This one was tricky, but with some big lengths of Oak, tensioned wires and clematis Montana we managed to pull it off! We quite often suggest this now as a more attractive summer shading solution to sails or umbrellas.
We also included a custom meranti bench and a wider redesign of the garden beds and inclusion of a waterfeature from @floraselect
We love a challenge so whatever your garden problem get in touch and we will find a way to pull it off!

Received a lovely message this morning - we completed this garden a couple of years ago. The brickwork on this project was a real challenge - weather struck joint with an engineering brick in a very wet Autumn but the final product is lovely if we do say so ourselves!

Was lovely to see this garden in Bristol we design and built in 2022. Previous to us, this was a disused tennis court. We have transformed the space into a large wildlife pond, kingfisher nesting bank, raised perennial bed areas and large wildflower meadow.
