FLOWING COTTAGE GARDEN

A desire for quiet relaxing and a love of cottage planting drove the brief for this project. The garden was predominantly laid to lawn and our wonderful clients wanted to create a new sanctuary for evening G+T’s and soft, flowing spaces between. 

The planting was designed to break up the space and a variety of trees  were used to add interest and break up the space. The planting is split into distinct zones, mixed contemporary cottage beds, native enriched wildflower meadows, a shaded woodland section and a wrap around white garden. 

The design also features a woven willow hedged allotment patch , new greenhouse and cut flower beds. 

The new space features an Oak framed garden room, expertly crafted by our specialist sub-contractors and finished to the highest standards by WBD . Subtle design and plant choices across the garden gives the space an understated elegance creating a beautiful vista from the home and a wonderful space to be in.
