This client approached us to undertake a decking refurbishment with an environmentally conscious desire to save as much of the existing deck as possible.
A large portion of the deck was rotten and unfit for use. We surveyed the structure and determined exactly how much was salvageable and what would have to be replaced.
Construction included all new deck boards, multiple joist replacements and a stairway structural reconstruction whilst using the surviving handrails and uprights. Despite the added complexities we are always happy to reuse and repurpose materials wherever we can to reduce the environmental impact of our work.
