I was at the end of a lengthy refurbishment and despite a smaller landscaping budget than anticipated I am delighted with the results. They designed, built and planted a brand new garden for us. From the initial stage of discussing likes and dislikes to the final stage of planting they were professional, knowledgeable and a delight to work with. We have a garden that is truly beautiful and everything we wanted.

Max and Tarun were amazing in planning and designing our very unusual garden. They provided a planting plan and ideas for other areas of the garden including soft and hard landscaping.

Wild by Design did an excellent job on replacing a boring 1960’s concrete wall with some lovely rustic chestnut post and rails fencing. The team was very professional and Max kept me updated at all times. The finished result looks great and I would highly recommend them.

Their fresh enthusiastic and artistic approach was evident from the first meeting. They absolutely ‘heard’ what we hoped to achieve whilst challenging us to consider other aspects of hard landscaping we hadn’t considered. They showed us many design ideas from which we agreed on one which has everything we could ask for.

The work started exactly on the day they promised, even earlier than we expected.
They were so hard working, absolutely fastidious about their tidiness and safety for our family and dog…they understood and adhered to the importance of considering our neighbours as we live at the end of a cul de sac! What they have created is truly awesome, a genuine gem of creativity and interest as well as being hugely practical for our entertaining needs. It’s a joy and pleasure for all who pass through our little piece of paradise. Most of our guests linger for ages looking at each plant. Our garden now looks and feels twice the size as well as being so much inspiring place to while away time! Oxshott Design and Build

Wild by Design co-ordinated their work with a major rebuilding exercise and were incredibly hardworking, often in challenging weather conditions. Tarun and Max worked with us on a clean and stylish patio construction which is a terrific feature at the back of our home. In the event, it proved a tricky excavation with a very high land drain. On Wild by Design’s advice, we were able to source suitable planting to soften but compliment the patio. The guys were then able to design and execute an extensive pathway to a new home office.

Large Contemporary Patio

We were looking for a local company with enthusiasm and ideas initially for the refurbishment of an arbour that had seen better days. Max and Tarun understood the brief and incorporated an antique stone casting as the centre point. It’s now a beautiful enlarged area which acts as a focal point for the walled garden. We were so pleased with their work, time keeping and attention to detail that we asked them to undertake three further commissions. These included the refurbishment of an 80 year old wall, the laying of a small brick patio close to a traditional greenhouse and largest of all the re-pointing and relaying of a traditional York stone large terrace which had seen better days. Overall we are very happy with the workmanship and timescale that the team adhered to. We would have no hesitation in recommending Max and Tarun to other people and would vouch for their honesty and craftsmanship. Wild by Design has been a pleasure to deal with.

Max and Tarun did an amazing job transforming our neglected weedy mess into a beautiful garden that we can finally enjoy properly. They came up with a choice of designs based on our brief and incorporating their creative suggestions to make the most of the space we have. This included disguising an ugly concrete retaining wall with beautiful dry stone walling, and designing a cantilevered decking area to make the most of the afternoon sun. They also laid a large patio area and built raised beds as well as designing and planting up the rest of the garden, all whilst carefully preserving the wildlife and plants that were already thriving in the garden. The finished result is exactly what we were hoping for and the whole process has been extremely smooth and professional. Max and Tarun were a pleasure to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
